The Sign Of The Wolf

Pentagram is performing this Friday and in honor of such a momentous occasion i will give unto you 'Relentless' their first full length album, and probably their best aside from their demos from the 70's. So ya, this is a gift that keeps on giving, Sabbath laden Doom from American contemporaries.
Ps i am totally gonna throw my panties into Bobby's toothless old mouth...and the panties will be laced with speed.

Enjoy

Now your Messin With a, Son Of A Bitch

This is Nazareth and their tribute to the downtrodden everyman entitled "Hair Of The Dog". Everyone has heard at least one song off this album, be it when you are watching TV and a commercial comes on for Monday night football and everything slows down and all the sudden you hear the anthemic sounds of Nazareth's "Love Hurts" as men get pumbled and smashed, or mabye you've just been dumped by your best girl so you and your best bro's are knee deep in Cans of Coors Light and cruisin in your dad's old truck and make the decision to go pick up that questionable hooker you all saw three blocks back only to find out afterward it was a man, and all the sudden you hear"Love Hurts". Anyway this album rules it is somewhere between Ac/Dc, Accept, and CCR. Its just good old fashioned Dude Rock, every song on this record rules and has earned an eternal spot in my heart. So put it on, crank it up, and drink til you can't see.

Perfect MastersThrieve On Disasters

This is BrianEno, he was once a part of the wonderful GlamRock band RoxyMusic. This album albeit not that much different from RoxyMusic is a gem on its own. its part Pop, part experimental, and heavily drug influenced. Its dancey up beat and somewhat off putting. This is 'HearComeTheWarmJets' from 1973. On my downtime at school i find myself laying on benches starring into space while this record forces me to wonder why 'BlankFrank' is the is the messenger of my doom and my destruction? In my opinion this album is a masterpiece, it has a strange beauty that most music is just lacking. Its infectious, groovy, poppy, and emotes a certain level of self reflection. At times the album just seems way ahead of its time, like at the end of' DeadFinksDon'tTalk' were it goes into some sort of techno break down, what the fuck is that? Awesome, that's what. While other times it seems like lost tracks from the 'RockyHorrorPictureShow' which i hope you don't take as a deterrent, cuz that soundtrack is awesome in it's own right.

I'm A Two Toned Panther

Hawkwind 1

Well, here it is, the Kings of space, the 'Lords Of Light' them selves, Hawkwind. 'Doremi Fosol Latido' is the 3rd release form for these spaced out rockers. This is another album that is solid all the way through, it fits every occasion, from eating a bowl of cereal to staring at the clouds and watching life pass you by(not in a lame-ass Garden State kinda way either). This album is spacey and evokes images of a vast psychedelic galaxy. Not to mention it features the man him self, Lemmy. On a side note, this is the 1996 re release which contains a few extra tracks including the single version of 'Lords Of Light' and 'Urban Guerrilla'. So do it, what have you got to lose? Board the MotherShip, dilate your pupils and space out.
